Our economy is in bad shape, yeah? So how is raising taxes for welfare going to help that...? I'm just wondering. I think Obama sucks. I think Mccain is better, but sucks as well. (: oh and none of this bullshit about how he wants "change." It's all an act - he can promote change, but he won't make it happen.

  1. I agree 100% he offers no change just the same worn out liberal policies.

  2. American workers need welfare these days. They work 40 hours a week and still need welfare? Hmmm, something seems wrong. They can always get a second job, but what then? If every welfare recipient had 2 jobs, we'd have an unemployment rate that will skyrocket.

We need to put more money in the consumers pocket. They spend that money, then you can sit back and watch the DOW rise.

  3. Hm..

Or you could possibly listen and/or do your research and see that Obama doesn't plan to raise taxes on anyone making under 250,000$. Last I checked, people on welfare aren't millionaires.

  4. Oh yea, things will be much better with McCain.

We need another leader who lies to invade nations, ignores Congressional supeonas, encourages former employess not to cooperate with investigations, encourages law enforcement that doesn't involve warrants, and pardons the very criminals he vowed earlier to punish (Scooter Libby)....

We need more people who were friends with Keneth Lay (who only stole the life savings of some 5000 people.

I'd vote for a monkey before McaCain....and i was Republican.

  5. It's called a cycle.  We pay them, they return the favor.  Neither Repub's nor Democrats would dare tax without representing.  Welfare is fueled by taxes.  People depend on welfare.  So, people in turn depend on taxes.  So, now why would we cut taxes, huh?

Also, please don't edit your question with info. that doesn't relate.

  6. The problem is you cant comprehend 9 trillion.

  7. The only change you will have left with Obama is the change in your pocket. Obama is raising all of our taxes, not just the rich.

    INCOME TAX

    MCCAIN (no changes)

    Single making 30K - tax $4,500

    Single making 50K - tax $12,500

    Single making 75K - tax $18,750

    Married making 60K- tax $9,000

    Married making 75K - tax $18,750

    Married making 125K - tax $31,250

    OBAMA

    (reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)

    Single making 30K - tax $8,400

    Single making 50K - tax $14,000

    Single making 75K - tax $23,250

    Married making 60K - tax $16,800

    Married making 75K - tax $21,000

    Married making 125K - tax $38,750

  8. I would be thrilled if Obama planned to raise taxes on rich people to give poor people welfare.

Because that would directly stimulate the economy: In this country, when you give a poor man ten bucks, he spends it right away.  This supports local business wherever he's at.

When you give a rich man ten bucks, he throws it in his stock portfolio, which is full of stock from companies that are creating jobs... in China.

  9. I agree. He's a good, convincing, smooth talker. And that's the only thing he can do.
