  1. he's blue but NOT a ritual

    here's a picture

he requires three monsters to summon

The real versions of the cards have become widely hunted collector's items, but are not legally playable in any sort of official tournament. They are also unnaffected by monster effects, and all traps and certain magic cards.

its effect allows a player to offer two monsters as sacrifices to destroy all of an opponent's monsters

  2. obelisk is not a ritual, its a god card.

and it's no longer popular, the other day I went to a local tournament and see a bunch of people with giant load of god cards from back in the days and no one whats them...

  3. Obelisk may be blue but he is NOT a ritual monster.

    Obelisk the Tormentor

    Divine

    Level 10

    Divine-Beast / Effect

    ATK/4000 DEF/4000

Effect: You must tribute 3 monsters to tribute summon this card. If this card is special summoned, it is sent to the graveyard during the end phase. While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot be targeted by spell, trap and effect monster effects that designate a target. You can tribute 2 monsters on your field to destroy all monsters your opponent controls.

  4. Obelisk is blue but not a ritual because there is no ritual spell card to summon him.

  5. hes blue not ritual

  6. Obelisk the Tormentor, being a god card, is not playable, but the 4kids version of its effects include not being affected by anything that TARGETS the card, which means it can be destroyed by Lightning Vortex etc. also a God card can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, but it only remains on the field for one whole turn (until you say "I end my turn etc."). Then it returns to the Graveyard, also a God card when Summoned, the the Summon is treated as both a Special Summon and a Normal Summon, which means if you had all 3 god cards in your hands, and you had the means to summon them all, then you can. However, if you summon a God card, you cannot Normal Summon again. Scapegoat tokens can be used as tribute fodder because Obelisk's summoning is considered Special Summoning, not Tribute Summoning. Also, you may use a God card if your opponent and you agree on ALL of its effects. Obelisk's effects, besides being immune to being targeted by something, are also if "Once per turn, you may tribute two monsters to increase this card's ATK by the combined ATK of the monsters tributed by this effect, until your End Phase." Another spoiler effect is if you tributed the other two god cards as seen in the Yu-Gi-Oh! movie, The Pyramid of Light, Obelisk gains INFINITE attack until your end phase.
