Obese Parents Part 2?

Ok so alot of people misread or misinturpreted (typo i think) my question yesterday. My question was for obese parents who constantly feed their children. I work in a grocery store and i see alot of different lifestyles. I see this alot..

An obese parent with a full cart of (unhealthy junk) food is walking around with their obese child in the store. This is normal but somtimes ill see the 2 eating what their buying before they get to the line to pay for it. COME ON! can't you wait till you get home?

And yesterday when i asked "Aren't you worried about the future of this country" i meant was... What if we had a Draft right now, what would our military consist of in 10 years? Or in 20 years what if we were invaded and 80% of the households couldn't defend themselves? Ever think of that?

Being obese not only effects the your family but as a whole generation it will bring our country down. Please do somthing!

P.S. i know Obese can be because of an illness im am not an idiot.

  1. The Point that you have made is a really good one.  But the thing is that I guanantee that the familys that have all the junk food are low income families. (i'm not saying all of them) but Most of the time. The junk food is cheaper than the healthy food.  So they buy the junk food cuz they get more for less and it lasts longer than if they were to buy a box of mac and cheese over fruits and veggies...  I too believe that we are all going to be obese some day and we are going to be in serious crisis in this country..

  2. I see it, too. I don't agree with setting children up for failure that way. The parents that overfeed their children are giving them a handicap. That's not fair to the kids.

  3. I think you should just worry about yourself and stop worrying and letting how other people live effect your life. obesity is a problem but saying that how will our military consist of in 10 years is c**p! they work out in the military if you go there obese chances are you will lose the weight. my cousin was over weight before he enrolled in the army and he came home a year later thin. get over any issues you may have with obese people. they have to want to change themselves.
