How comes when it comes to obesity and take outs, Mc Donalds gets the biggest stick about it? Surely take outs such as Buger King, KFC, chinease, chip shopes etc are all just as bad?

The other day in KFC these people were buying 'Big daddy' meals! What sort of people buy these HUGE meals!!! how comes KFC do this and dont get any slack for it,

  1. McDonald's takes the most heat because they are the largest fast food chain, the most successful and the most prominent.  Of course they are but one player in the fast food game.  None of these businesses, however, bear any responsibility for how people choose to spend their money or feed themselves.  The real question is why can't people in our society accept responsibility for their own choices rather than looking to point a finger?

  2. McDonald's is a bigger chain, and most everyone knows what it is.

They also serve the food with the most grease. KFC and Burger King grill alot of their food, where as McDonald's fries most of theirs.

    God Bless!! :)

  3. It's not the KFC's of this world who are to blame for obesity.  EAT LESS has to be the answer......

  4. McDonald's gave people the option of Supersizing their meals, and their food is very unhealthy. Other fast food restaurants are still unhealthy as well.

  5. i dont know why they blame fast food places when it is the people who are buying the food for the price they are paying and the quanity when at home they could chop up carrots and celery put it in a container or bag and eat it as fast food. maybe its not as hot as fast food but fast food is just processed [most of the time]. carrots and celery is prob safer eating it the car cause you could put it in a container that fits in a cup holder and it is so much HEALTHIER!!!!!  i dont get it all of these people are complaining they are so fat then looking at the fast food places and getting them in trouble its stupid they just have to have someone/ thing to blame!! they should stop spending their money for some FAT food and just buy little containers of fruits and veggies!!!

  6. When you're the biggest, you're also the biggest target, especially by cheesy little "so-called" documentarians whose agenda is anti-capitalism.

  7. In a way, they do. Everyone knows that all types of fast food are bad for you, but MacDonalds, being the biggest and most recognisable chain, has become a sort of symbol for all fast food outlets. So when people talk about all the unhealthy food at MacDonalds they are really attacking the whole fast food industry, as represented by the evil of Ron MacDon.

  8. most people perfer mcdonalds. "im lovin it" they got alot of choices for breadfest and lunch, dinner. burgerking dosent have a bigger breadfest menu. plus, the reason kfc dosent get enough credit is because there alot of vegetarians and people who dont like kfc becuz of how they abuse there chickens and stuff

  9. Its the size of the portions. I wouldnt buy a huge meal there all full of fat.

I love chips so I would eat lots of them.

  10. Let's put it another way. No one is putting a gun to peoples heads and making them eat that rubbish.

  11. in Mc Donalds , there are more choice than in Burger King...more salads, breakfast, lunch items, the burger tastes better in Mc Donalds than in Burger King, cooking way matters !

  12. Stop worrying about it. We have the freedom of choice. We could choose not to eat at these places if we are that concerned about them.

  13. I think it's because McDonalds was the fore runner for the SUPER SIZE deals and it's more global than some of the other chain restaurants.. Also, McDonalds is more "iconic" than say KFC or ARBY'S etc...

*Generally, people that are hungry buy HUGE meals and People that want more value for their money.  Not just overweight people.. I've never seen or even heard of the Big Daddy meal so I don't know if I'd order it.  I often buy biggie meals to share with the kids...
