Obisidian Dragon Question?

Obsidian Dragon - Negate the effects of Spell and Trap Cards that target only 1 face-up Dark monster you control, and destroy them.

Does that mean that any card that targets 1 monster on the field is negated as long as it is a dark monster? And does it last as long as the monster is on the field?

It has to be a face-up dark monster controlled by a player and trap cards like Magic Cylinder, Saskuretsu Armor, etc. target a monster. So if you attack with a Dark monster, and your opponent activates a trap card to negate the attack, the trap card is negated and destroyed. This is a continuous effect. So if it's destroyed, then the effect is gone.

Hello. Yes, any DARK monster that is on the field, including the Obsidian Dragon itself, cannot be targeted by any kind of effect. I would also check the ruling on www.yugioh-card.com, just to clarify.

well it means if ur opponent is targeting a dark monster with spells cards or traps cards then u can destroyed them all and ur dark monster is free but the dark monster has to be face up dark monster and u can only do it once per turn i hope it help
