hey i ran out of lockpicks and i need more where can i get some

You can find them in cave, boxes, drawers, or if you belong to thieves guild you can get some from there!!

The goblins in the caves have them most of the time, otherwise they'll be in the boxes or barrells.

If you're playing the game on a PC and you are not against cheating than I can help you get more lockpicks.

To open the cheat box hit the tilde ~ key.

Now type:

player.additem 0000000A 50 and hit enter.

This will give you 50 lockpicks. Oh, and in case you're wondering if I put the correct amount of zero's in there should be 7 zero's and than an A. You can put more than 50 if you want.

If you do the same thing but put an F on the end instead of an A, it will give you gold.

Generally most caves/ruins/mines have lockpicks found in random chests, barrels, or other containers. That is a bit 'hit and miss' though so try buying some from any of the theives guild porters. Anyone you talk to for a mission should be able to sell you them, or lead you to someone who will.

Check just outside the imperial city on the south wall. There is a guy in black robes who sells a huge gross of them.
