Oboe lessons in Michigan/Indiana?

I live in Southwestern Michigan, and I need oboe lessons. I was wondering if anyone was giving out lessons in this area.

Try calling the music department of a college or university near you.  They should be able to give you some leads.

Are there any orchestras near you?  I would assume Grand Rapids would have an orchestra with an oboist or two that you could ask.

I live in Lansing, but am not that familiar with your area of Michigan.  You could always try calling the music department at Michigan State.

I'm an oboe major and the easies way to do it if you are a student is talk to your band director.

My next suggestion would be put a want add in the local paper. where I live, posting stuff like that is free
