Observable phenomenon, for philosophy.?

ok so i need to pick some observable phenomenon, and explain it from the perspective of science and then from myth. the book gives an ex:the eclipse of the sun. i was gonna write it on a shooting stars but i didnt find a myth, and then i was gonna write it on lighting but i found a myth from the native american and we are reading bout greek myths any help plz.

    They are an absolute miracle.

    Greek mythology has a good story on it.  Roman and Norse might as well.
