Obsession (OCD)??????

Hi

I think my room mate has some from of OCD. Basically my mates got this line of chest hair on his chest. Its soft and light and when he looks down at it he can see the line, but when he looks at it in the mirror or you look at it, it appears bare. So i told him is fine its pratically bare chested theres no problem. However he keeps having this routine where he keeps checking it and then looking at the mirror to see if he can see it or not. I think he wants a bare chest for some reason im not sure of, but his chest might aswell be bare as the hair is light. However the problem is that he can see it when he looks down even though i explained to him that no body is going to look down his chest because they can't and everyone looks straight at it which appears empty.

Does anyone know whats up and how to overcome it cus its annoying me

it could be ocd or just plain paranoia.tell him if he wanted to make sure to make sure no-one saw it then eitherwax it off or bleach it with proper bleach not cleaning bleach obviously.if it is ocd then you may notice other things which you may find odd but wont be to him.i also have ocd and i annoy myself sometimes so if it annoys you think how he feels.there are places to help if he has ocd or he  can learn to live with  it and deal with it in his own way.
