Obtain a warrant for the search of the home of Ronald Riff, a suspect in the burglary of Marquette’s Market.

OK, this a scenario, that has been given to us, by our instructor to give information on how we would obtain a warrant. Based on this information, what would be the facts, to get a warrant, for this particular situation.

I am a brain injury patient and have a real problem with memory, in looking this up, so you could please help out here; I would welcome any police officers on the force, or retired police officers, there input too!

  1. In order to get a warrant, you must establish probable cause that the search will turn up evidence of the crime.
