Question:

Occasional Bumpiness Occurring?

For the passed few months I have noticed something very strange occur while driving my 97 Elantra. Out of nowhere comes a feeling like I am driving on a dirt road or something. Just real, bumpiness. It happens at high speeds and low speeds. Whenever it happens, I pull over for a few moments and by the time I get back on the road it has gone away.

At first I thought it was brake related but now I am thinking perhaps it is the rotors? The car has over 200,000 miles on it and I am not sure that the rotors have ever been turned or replaced.

Is this the likely culprit and am I setting myself up for a dangerous scenario?
