Occupational Therapy undergraduate background?

I want to go into Occupational Therapy after i finish my undergrad.

I am trying to figure out my major. i'm trying to find something that would give a backup to fall back on if OT doesn't work out. my choices:

Early Childhood Education/special ed.

Psychology, spanish or health minor

spanish or health education

  1. really any of those will work for getting you into a OT program.  I would choose what you are most interested in and what you are likely to work hard at during your undergrad years.


  2. Any BS degree that can lead to a job is good if you plan on potentially not going to grad school.  Of the ones that you listed, ECI, and health/kinesiology can all lead to teaching, which is always a good back up.
