What is the difference between ocean front and ocean view?

Ocean-front real estate means your yard will be touching the water, with its own beach.  This kind is usually the most expensive since there is a limited amount of coastline.

Ocean-views are any of the neighbors of the ocean-fronts who can see the ocean from across the street, a few houses down, or a hill or mountain but your yard does not phyically touch water.

Sometimes the view will be a "winter water view"- you can see the water only when the leaves have fallen from the trees, but not in the summer!
