The deepest Trench in the ocean is the Mariana trench at 36,201 feet. The pacific ocean reaches a depth of 13,740 feet.

During the Shell Perdido Project, machines, not man.. reached record breaking depths at almost 9k feet into the gulf of mexico.

As a fact is seems.. creatures.. get larger the deeper you go into the ocean.

Say for example some 'being' were to just state "All man can now breathe under water and withstand even the deepest pressures" and per se that this was now true.

and so this being said "the only way you can keep this gift, is for all 6 billion of man to go into the ocean, and destroy all living creatures beneath the surface.

would man win? or would sea creatures win?

I personally believe even with weapons, man would die in a heart beat.

Especially when you look at squids being found, and how people are finding fresh megaladon teeth washing up on shores.

Something is down there.

But yes, show your opinions!!

  1. I think you are absolutely right....you mention the biggest animals like the megalodon and the squid but what about all the other smaller animals....like jelly fish, portuguese man-o-war, rock fish.....these can all kill man very easily and very painfully....there are so many poisonous fish and creatures in the ocean that could kill us in one prick and not injure themselves or anything else....also they have been living there all their life and have been able to evolve to hunt and kill in that environment.....even with modern weapons we would drop like flies.....we still know less about the bottom of our oceans then we do about the moon so chances are there are so many more things down there that will do additional harm on top of the ones we already know....
