Odd bruising on my thigh

Question

This morning when I went to the toilet, I noticed some really strange looking "bruising" down my thigh - only it wasnt a bruise - it looked more like burst blood vessels or something.

It doesnt hurt when I touch it, and I dont recall knocking into anything recently.

What could it be?? Should I be worried?

Perhaps a good check up with your doctor - you may have a health factor that has not appeared until now that is influencing your life

The old adage of better safe than sorry is probably appropriate here

Possibly a busted blood vessel or a varicose vein.
