Odd sun conure behavior...?

Question

I don't know if this is weird but when my sun conure is out and just standing, looking around...sometimes he suddenly jerks his head in the air, opens his beak, and wiggles his tongue around. Its quite hilarious but I was just wondering if anyone elses bird does this?

Mine does something similar he will do that just the same way or while spreading his wings, I have a green cheeked conure very similar just smaller. They are great birds aren't they.

I have a sun conure and a sunday conure. They are the kings of odd behaviorisms! Mine will fluff up their heads and bob them up and down (this is usually an intimidation tactic for them).  They also hang from the top of their cages or anything else they can dangle from with one foot, flap their wings and squawk like crazy. They are nutty little birds, they definatley keep things interesting around here!
