Odds in favour of Decent Lord in the Horseracing Markets At Betvictor.Com Handicap Hurdle at Hereford
Hereford is to stage the Class 5 New Horseracing Markets At Betvictor.Com Handicap Hurdle over two miles and a furlong. The £1, 689 purse race is scheduled for Monday, 5th March and has a lineup of seventeen horses.
Among those who are competing today, Decent Lord, Lord Of Appeal’s eight-year-old bay gelding out of mare Otorum, has the advantage of being victories twice out of the four starts that Decent Lord has made at Hereford.
On 13th February 2011, Decent Lord won the Lindley Catering Handicap Hurdle at Hereford over two miles and a furlong. He was in charge of the field of ten by an amazing seventeen lengths and Man Of Leisure finished the closest to the winner. Third
in line was Reg’s Ruby.
Finishing the race sixth was the 9/4 favourite of the race, Swiss Guard.
The Lindley Catering Handicap Hurdle on 21st February 2011 at Hereford over two miles and a furlong witnessed Decent Lord racing through the wire first over the track that was being contested for by six participants.
Concluding the race right after the 4/5 favourite was Form And Beauty who kept Galantos at bay by fourteen lengths, who eventually finished third.
Besides having bagged two victories, Decent Lord recently raced his seasonal debut in which he was placed third.
On 21st February, Decent Lord was the part of Wetherby Racecourse Sunday Car-Boot-Sale Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle at Wetherby over two miles and ½ furlong.
The race was won by Stanley Bridge who made it through the wire by only a mere ½ lengths’ difference from the runner up of the race, Harry Handsome. Decent Lord was sent in as a 4/1 joint favourite went through track third. The other joint favourite, Deny,
ended sixth on the lineup of ten.
Decent Lord’s third position on the lineup of ten is not exactly a disappointment for the connections who have their hopes high due to the ground condition that is good to soft and will for sure suit the eight-year-old while the distance is agreeable for
the horse too.
Such favourable conditions have made the victory for Decent Lord pretty much inevitable. His second attempt during the season would certainly culminate into a victory if he does not let go off the performance in the last start and puts in more effort.
