Odds-on favourite Judicial Academy won the Caffreys Standard Trophy – Finals for trainer G Oswald
The highlighted event on the Nottingham race card was the Caffreys Standard Trophy – Finals, which was impressively won by trainer G Oswald’s fortunate hound Judicial Academy. Covering the trip of 500 meters for the entailed purse £400, the young hound confirmed
his ownership for the purse.
The hound with the most favourable odds, G Oswald’s white and blue dog commenced his chase with quite an inspiring pace. Wearing red and white jacket, Judicial Academy’s abrupt race eventually helped him in attaining the pointer spot.
While sustaining the leading position the three-year-old hound rallied all the way towards success, on a mission to win the purse. Dashing through the dirt track with the ideal odds of 4 – 6 F G Oswald’s champ ultimately managed to cross the wire with flying
colours.
In the total estimated time of 30.31 seconds, Judicial Academy’s possession for the prize money was dyed on the wool.
The trap 5 racer who concluded his chase by the skin of his teeth, was unfortunately over thrown by 2 ¼ lengths. Wearing orange and white jacket Coolbrook Paddy was chasing the lure for trainer David Pruhs, but failed in his attempt to out run the winning
hound
Crossing over in 30.49 seconds, David Pruhs’s Coolbrook Paddy managed to wrap up his chase at second position.
Finishing at third place, by a length, was G Oswald’s other hound Droopys Rory. With the odds of 4 – 1, the black dog’s pace was very sluggish and lethargic, which became a major hitch in his quest.
The two-year-old later on tried every chance to win the race, but his chase lacked conviction and speed.
In 30.57 seconds, G Oswald’s hound finished his quest.
The trap 3 racer Jordan Light, who was rallying through the track for trainer C Lister, inauspiciously lost the show by 1 ¼ lengths. Due to his slow start, the hound was given a chance to experience a clear run.
Charlie Lister’s hound finished off fourth in total 30.67 seconds.
The last hound that assisted in concluding the show was Trainer S Mason’s black dog, Pats Legacy. While dashing through the track, trap 6 racer suddenly got hampered during the first bend.
The show stealer Judicial Academy’s out class performance was the only reason due to which he was placed in the lime light. Hitting the wire in the Caffreys standard Trophy – Finals, the hound fortified himself as a real go getter
