Of Auckland's fine restaurants, where will I find the best Asian food?

It's certainly not a fine dining restaurant, but going on the criteria above I would say the Canton Cafe on New North Road in the Kingsland shops.

I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic dinner or special occasion. It's pretty busy and cramped and all the tables are large - but it's cheap and authentic, and the food is awesome!

(1) Great taste

(2) Great price

(3) BYO wine and beer

The answer is obviously "Sri Panang" on K’Road, Auckland.
