  1. is just curleys wife.

you can call her w***e if u wish...

no dont do that , you'll get in trouble

  2. No she doesn't have a name.

You have to refer to her as "Curley's wife".

I think the author did this to emphasise that women have no identity, they are a possession of men.

Curley's wife isn't seen as a human being with thoughts or feelings, she is seen as Curley's property, nothing else.

    Hope that helps!

  3. She does not have a name which is of huge significance. it accentuates how women were percieved back then and how they have no identities and are just seen as 'poison' and a 'tart'. if you want any more info contact me, i have studied the whole book ,in depth!!! however in the film,i think they call her jane

  4. OMG you started reading your summer readign. im so proud of you!!!!!

yes Curley's wife will be fine. i dont think our teacher will care if it summer reading.

Flowers for Algernon was the saddest book i have ever read. i cried for the last 10 pages. Bawling. no joke

  5. just refer to her as Curley's wife. as the person said before the fact he doesnt give her a name symbolizes women weren't important back then.

    xoxo,

    Mimi
