I remember getting a generic GI joe type doll., (action figure) for Christmas when 11. It only cost $5. that was the only toy i got all year as a gift..

Mulan barbie. You pulled a cord around her neck and her hair did this thing. and her face turned white(with warm water)! It's hard to believe how easily we were amused as children. My sister got a rolling skate babrie, but that was like post-2004 when barbies got all fancy.

i got a 99c brand barbie.The head came off and the hair felt like paper bags.

The worst was the pregnant barbie.

My favorite barbies I have gotten was that 2000 millennium barby, My mom told me not to take it out of the package and I actually listened lol. Also I have one that is October opal. I used to collect dolls lol. But Yeah I've had some crappy $5 barbies before and the generic ones sucked lol. oh yeah I also collected those little kelly dolls.

I once got a pregnany doll , It was like a barbie and was hollowed inside to fit a baby , then it came with 2 bellies a pregnant belly and a flat belly. Take about societal standpoints ,lol. I got this when I was 9 from one of my dad's friends.

I got a 6 Million Dollar man doll for Christmas when I was really little.  It came with a rip-cord motorcycle and it did some cool wheelies and jumps.  THAT was pretty cool!

My best was:

A rockstar barbie that had sparkly hair and a glow in the dark  keyboard. Another good one was a blond barbie, that when her hair was put in warm water it changed to PINK. The worst was one that had some purple dress and her hair was black, I despised it.

I got skipper one year. That was pretty special.

Back in my day though the coolest thing you could get was the little barbie pool that you could push a button and water squirted.
