I am a one eye collingwood supporter,but yes i have to agree Yankee fans are the most annoying followed by Richmond, Carlton,Essendon,port, etc etc etc.

Im a eagles supporter and i like freo too but eagles better.

I guess it depends on the idvidual fans not the group.

i didnt like the way Chris Judd was booed by a stadium filled with freo supporters after he won the medal at a derby that freo won. thats a group thing so that was really bad. I think thats unfair, all he did was play his best and try his hardest to help his team, that doesn't deserve booing does it?

THE WORST: collingwood takes the cake ive had them spit on me after matches cause they lost.

THE BEST: i would have to say hawthorn!!! they seem to be alright when watching live footy matches! win or lose

Port and Collingwood, easily the worst. The only time I`ve seen fights at games are when my teams been playing these guys.

Eagles fans dont barrack as hard as other teams, and their members hardly barrack at all. I find that boring. Wheres the passion?

I have also seen Adelaide fans boo their team off the ground several times, they do not accept failure & are very fickle.

Richmond, of course, has the smartest, and best looking fans!

I don't like Port Adelaide supporters, this is because of a nasty experience me and a few friends had with them about 5 years ago.  We are from Brisbane so are therefore Lions supporters, we won a competition to go see Michael Voss's 200th game, which happened to an away game against Port.  During the entire match we were subject to all sorts of nasty comments directed at us, we were also constantly having to duck food, drinks and all the other stuff (including a cup full of urine) that was getting thrown at us. Security watched on and just let it happened, when one of my friends complained about it after having a hot pie hit her in the back of her head, the security guy said that's what happens when you come into enemy territory.  But worst of all was when  a group of Port fans (about 20 of them) bash up two of my friends up outside the ground after the game, both ended up in hospital, one in a coma for 2 days and he now has a permanant brain injury because of it.

Although I am an American who is a fairly recent convert to footy, everything I have seen makes me think Doggie supporters are pretty friendly.  I don't really know who the obnoxious ones are...although from reading various posts and listening to some of the call-in shows available over the internet, I believe I'm leaning Collingwood's way on that one.

Ok the worst fans- Well i have seen bad from each team however for me easily the worst was the port adelaide team, not only did they get violent becuase their team was loosing they also showed not respect for the fact that families were in their section and that kids should not be subjected to that kind of language/ actions.

The best mmm the old fitzroy supporters that support the lions everytime they are in town- I think their passion for their merged club is amazing- what other merged club has that sort of fan base?

anyway for me I love the die hard hawks fans too... even if we keep getting smashed we love them no less.... lol

The most annoying supporters, without a doubt are the Yankee fans. . .regardless if they are new fans, fans who have just jumped on the band wagon, or die hard fans---please, we all know they are a great team, but give it a break!!

The best supporters are the Braves fans. . .humble and honest about the team's weaknesses and strengths.
