Of all the names we give our daughters...which do you think is the prettiest...?

Names for baby girls are so emotive, and often reflect the power of our feelings at the time of their birth. More so than boys names.

I have two daughters (and a brilliant son), but I always think my daughters names are so beautiful........Naomi Theresa...and Rachel Mary....

They are very pretty names.

My daughter is called Courtney Mae Rose (Mae Rose is after her daddy's grandmother)

Not everyone will like her name but I love it

They are both interesting. I named my first son Christopher Robin because he was born with strawberry blond hair, (after the character in Winnie the Pooh) My second son was born on St. Nicholas day, so we named him Nicholas (although we're not very religious) and his middle name is Raine, also after a character in a book. He now says he wants to shorten his name to Nicholas Raine (like Tom Cruise and Angelina Jolie did) I told him it would be a perfect stage name!

If I had had a girl, I would have named her Cassandra Rhea (pronounced Ray) and her initials would have matched my first son's.

BTW- I'm a woman, I'm using my husbands profile.

My daughter's name is Eleanor Mae, it just suited her so much. And sons are Nathan Miles and Joshua Thomas. I think girls names are just more elegant and delicate, I love them all equally. Your daughters do have lovely names.

My daughter's name is Tonia Catherine, she was named after her amazing grandmother who helped me through out my whole life, she is amazing and so caring, she reminds me so much of her grandma. her name truly is beautiful, mainly because her grandma is beautiful on the inside and the outside, like my daughter.

my son's name is Joseph Michael, and if we ever have a girl we are going to name her eather Dawn Marie or Elizabeth Dawn. I like Rachel Mary, i dont know why, i just like the sound of it.

My daughter is Olivia Renae....i've loved that name since i saw The Color Purple. My son is Christopher Owen. Christopher just suits my son, he's so affectionate and that name just goes with it.  

We don't believe in nicknames, i correct people when they shorten their names.

I have 2 boys but when we considered girl's names, we liked Gráinne, (grawn-ya) Máiréad, (mer-ade)  Branwyn (bron-win) and Lorien.  Our boys are Daniel and Michael, good strong names for our little celtic babies.
