Im among mice and men, do you think lennie is mentally retarded or just really slow?

Lenny  probably has a learning disability and is mentally challenged in someway. And Rosebud was his sled-o!

I think Lennie was mentally retarded, not just slow.

This was one of my favorite books.  Hope you enjoy it.

Lennie could not function with out his mentor. He needed help just to get through the day.

I don't think he's mentally retarded just very dull but then in those days they wouldn't really have tested labour workers for things like dyslexia etc. George does give the excuse that he was kicked in the head by a horse so maybe he knows something we dont.
