Focus on your faith. Strengthen your relationship with God through prayer.

Even in cases of the most profound possession, your soul is not harmed by the demonic. By your baptism you belong to God. The demonic may tempt you to degrading things. You may fall into the deepest pit of despair. But you still belong to God.

Black magick is the same. Nothing to fear. Pity those who embrace black magick. Pray for them. They don't understand the true purpose of that which they serve.

And do not lump all those who follow alternative paths in with those who use black magick. Most are kind and gentle souls. Even we Christians have more than our fair share of nut jobs who would use God as a weapon of their hatred. Pray for them too. Their "sin" is far greater because they SHOULD know better.

Honestly i'm Wicca so I believe in the "rule of three' everything you send out comes back to you 3 fold. Don't allow negativity in and it can't. Allowing negativity gives it power.
