Alan Jones was a big surprise much friendlier than I expected. Jacky Ickx was also a surprise in the other direction, very arrogant and not a bit friendly.

  1. Jarno Trulli, Sebastien Bourdais, and Timo Glock were very friendly. The least? I would have to say Nick Heidfeld. I met him at Indy in '07 and he was very arrogant! I just wished him good luck for that race and he didn't even say "Thank you" or even looked at me. Really rude!

  2. I agree with piggingheck, Mansell is a ****. Damon Hill was nice when he was younger, he's got a bit up himself in recent times. Jackie Stewart may not know anything about F1, but he's great to chat to.

  3. Most: Heikki

Least: Fisichella (when he was in a competitive car anyway)

  4. At last a good F1 question, it been a couple of days of I wanna go Kartng!

Since I never met 1 till 1999, I'd have to say Johnny Herbert by far the nicest, as was Jackie Stewart, I got to go to the Stewart pit box at the British GP as at the time my Grandad had a share in a Ford dealership and pulled a few strings.

None we're particularly nasty, though Montoya had a face like thunder when I asked for his autograph in 2002, though I expect he was annoyed at Schumi and not me ( though I'm quite irritating)

  5. Jones is a great bloke, met him at a Ford thing a few years ago. Also Patrese, he's a really nice guy.

    Mansell is an arrogant ****.

  6. I spoke to David Coultard and he was very polite, an extremely nice chappie with a great sense of humour :-)

Jensen Button was an ignorant fool who strolled past a load of fans like they was something he'd scraped off his boots, wasn't impressed.  Although I'm sure he would have stopped and spoken if someone would have had a big camera to shove in his face !!!

  7. I met Jacky Stewart when he was a  V.I.P. guest at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham ... a good few years ago when I was working there in the banqueting centre .. ... It was a fundraising dinner .. and he was an absolute gentleman .. really polite and charming, he posed for photos and chatted to everyone  ......

I`ve never met any one unpleasant ...

  8. .

I've never met one, but I thought Julian being "quite irritating" was funny.
