Right now I'm hitting the Taylor Made r7 460 which works well for me, but I'm thinking it's time to upgrade to a newer driver.

  1. I agree with Snorkle, the square-headed drivers are very straight. You may have heard of the Callaway FT-i. It's supposed to be the straightest in the world. And by the way, if your driver is working for you, don't change it to be flash.

  2. you don't need a new driver, are you kidding your self, you need swing help, not a .001% increase in ball speed, so your that much further into the tulips.that driver is really good, seriously, buy some balls

  3. Theres only one driver for me and that's the new nikey square driver, its awsome mate! if you can hold on for abit the new one comes out in march i think! all the top nikey guys are using them at the mo! including me ha ha

  4. all of the new drivers callaway titeleist taylormade are all good clubs. Today all of the drivers are forgiving the difference is the way they are setup up the shaft weight the length and face angle. The calalway seems a bit closed where the new titelist seems a bit open. Go with the burner taylormade for power and forgivness,

  5. For forgivness, long, straight with a lot of forward roll I just tried the Nickent 3dx square driver. Ball flight was as long as any I have ever hit and has incredible forward roll. Lost very little in accuracy and distance on miss hits.

  6. All the big name drivers are long and forgiving nowadays.  Just get on the launch monitor and find out which one is best for you. Maybe it will tell you the r7 is the best fit.

  7. The new square drivers are too easy to hit straight and hit the ball too long....they are so straight and long the USGA should make them illegal!!!!!!!

    ...I'm getting one this year
