Of the two, which is a better crafted 8x10" camera? Burke & James or Ansco?

I have a Wista currently but my sister wants to get into large format and I am going to buy her a camera. Looking for something that is reasonably well built but affordable.

The B&J may look nasty but under all that paint is maple.

Regardless, individual condition is going to play more of a factor than anything in choosing between specific examples given the age of both.
