Off Season Skiing?

Question

I have been looking for a way to build a kicker for practicing in the off season, but the only materials i have been able to find are too expensive or based in europe. does anyone know some cheap or easy to get material that i can use to ski on? (i have already checked out Snowflex and permasnow.)

I would go with indoor-outdoor carpet and just wet it down before you ski on it.
