Off Topic- Is it cheaper to take flights around the world now?

Seeing as how people are scared to board planes now. But the gas prices seem to keep rising.

Some of the around the world flights or RTW flights as they are called have some spectacular deals.  Check out Airtreks. I have used them before and they were great.  or try this site to get an idea.

Dannuele, oil prices have driven up the  cost of air travel quite a bit. I don't know about going around the world on a ticket, but I would think that a round-the-world flight would be much higher now as opposed to a year ago. Overall, air travel is up over last year.
