On my heart area and right side of chest for my chest it's like when I press this certain spot it feels like a rib and it hurts for a few seconds I can stand it but it's a little annoying and it usually only happens when I'm sitting down and leaning and slouching and my heart area hurts randomly but mostly when I'm sitting down. Maybe this is caused by stress because I have been going through a lot lately like I can't see my dad because he won't respond to my emails and my mom's boyfriend being a jerk and stuff but I thought that could be a possibility I told my mom about the possible rib pain and she said it was probably a broken rib or something and she said you could live with a broken rib. The heart area pain my be caused from all the soda and energy drinks I drink (which I've been cutting down a lot lately) and sitting at the computer long hours of the day. I noticed these pains mostly at the beginning of summer around June. I was just wondering if anyone knew what it was.

I am 14 years old and male. If that helps any Idk, but please help.

  1. It sounds to me that if you have a broken rib you should be seeing a Doctor and even it isn't broken just investigate where the pains coming from . Having that said I am not sure that energy drinks are that good for you , not the ones that you buy in the can they are full of sugar and caffeine and that will make your heart race . I drink an natural power juice before I go for my long walk . Made up of banana , apple  , pineapple , strawberries , raspberries ,  and fish oil and pure protein and no additive . I usually mix only 3 fruits and the oil add water or milk or orange juice . You can  learn to make your own everyday and it's much better for you and tasty as well . I am sad hear about your Dad not responding to mail I hope he does some day and my heart goes out to you . Good luck and have a great day .
