I'm thinking of doing JV volleyball next year. And I know its going to be so much tougher, what kinds of things should I do that would really help my stamina, and strength.
I will do my conditioning during the SUMMER.
This is what I was thinking of doing:
100-200 push-ups.. (start slowly and increase as the month or week progresses)
run a mile or half a mile
drink LOTS of water
work on my abs
do at least 500 sets a day
do about 500-1,000 bumps (i'm trying to be a libero for my team)
practice on my serves for about 15-30 minutes (i want to be able to jump serve)
IS THIS ALL TOO MUCH?? I NEED TIPS AND HELP THANKS
(i was thinking of doing this 5-7 times a week.)
i want to take vbal seriously because its the only sport i've rele been involved in.
