I mean to get me through training or my whole career, any tips covering things that aren't in the recruiting leaflets from those who have gone before me would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Yes. When you`re taking a shower dont drop the soap.

  2. Remember to duck when soneone starts shooting.......and I hope you can swim

  3. I was told that before I go for Basic Training I should go with the mind set that I don't know anything, and that I'm not Army fit. The same probably applies, make sure your the best and be the "grey man/women" don't be loud and asking for attention, just keep your head down and get attention for the right reason.

  4. I would be doing everything to be more physically fit than my peers.

More pull ups, more crunches, more push ups, increasing my endurance and cardio by running and doing sprints, getting used to climbing ropes.

During basic training (of any type), your body becomes broken down either physically or mentally.  The more you do ahead of time to build it, the longer it will last among your peers!

Additionally, it SETS YOU APART from your peers in a good way!

  5. Stay out of Iranian waters is what I say or you may be on telly
