What is the correct sentence I should include in an email to make sure it has been delivered? My suggestion:

1. Please confirm receiving this email.

.

2. Please send me a delivery receipt for this email.

.

which one is correct? Or any other options?

  1. Please reply to confirm receipt of this e-mail.  Thanking you in advance for your confirmation.

    Name


  2. the first one - most people would not know how to send an email receipt.  But I would make it easy and say "Please confirm receipt of this email by hitting reply and then send - thank you!"

  3. If you're using outlook, there is an option under "options" to request a "read" receipt.  

    It sends an email back to you that confirms the sender opened the email.
