Recently, several immature office clerical workers (female) have sent emails to a select few similar types, to take people having birthdays out to lunch. They then rub it in to those who weren't on the list that they did not get invited!
They also pass around birthday cards to only certain people to sign which causes humiliation, and embarrassment to the ones left out.
The recipient thinks the others who did not sign are just mean, and/or refused to attend the luncheon.
The boss hates to hear things like this, but it is causing hard feelings, and could escalate.
What suggestions do you have?
