Office night out in Edinburgh?

we are intending going out to cheer us all up, post xmas blues!!!, but we are in a bit of a quandry, some want meal, some want bevvy, some want karaoke, and some want all of those!! there was one suggestion of going to the Italian restaurant that does karaoke( the Lamore Italliano, Fountainbridge), but a few have been and were not too impressed, but thats the type of thing we are after, any suggestions? thankyou in advance for genuine replies.

I haven't been to Edinburgh for about 2 years, when I was there I went to Filthy McNasties for karaoke. It was so bad it was good!

Try Zizzi's restaurant near in Queensferry St near Shandwick Place.   Brilliant food and atmosphere.

Bar Roma or Pizza Express near House of Frasers.... and then there is lots going on around that area that you can walk to after... Like Howies.... I dunnooo Im only 13

also the jamhouse is good!
