Officer Conefrey fancy his chances in the D.G.O.B.A A4 525 Round 1 Heat 3 at Harold’s Cross
There are plenty of talented runners in the line-up, but Officer Conefrey seems to have the best chance in the D.G.O.B.A A4 525 Round 1 Heat 3 at Harold’s Cross on Monday, June 25th. The 525 yards flat race is scheduled to begin at 20:55 (GMT).
Officer Conefrey is going to face five quality runners including Aisteach, Manilla Jack, Veranda, Buchail Rosie and Cavansheath Mesi. A cash prize of €50 is reserved for the ultimate champion.
Officer Conefrey was pretty impressive on his return to Harold’s Cross last week. After making a terrible outing at Drumbo Park, the black dog got his act together, and did an excellent job last time around.
However, he remained slightly unlucky, missing the mark by a few lengths. T. Lynch’s charge has been producing consistent results over the past few weeks.
An outstanding performance would have boosted up his confidence to a great extent and thus, the experienced hound has a great chance of dominating proceedings at Harold's Cross.
Aisteach is being considered as a major contender for the 525 yards flat race, though victories have dried up for the black b***h, and stepping down in class might make things a bit easier for her.
According to our calculations, she will be able to bounce back only if the rivals make mistakes on the track.
Manilla Jack was an easy winner last time, but in the lower grade. The white and fawn dog has made a fine solo outing at Harold’s Cross, but today’s race will be her first competitive appearance here. So, there will be some pressure on her.
Veranda was the back marker in her previous outing. She has nothing to attract the punters, but she might shake off the blues and surprise everyone at the track.
Buchail Rosie has been out-of-form since clinching two consecutive wins in April. Cavansheath Mesi is going to perform better than the odds suggest. The black dog won two of the previous three races at this venue.
According to our calculations, Cavansheath Mesi will ask questions of, Officer Conefrey. However, the latter will be able to secure the top spot, if he comes up with his A-game.
