Official: Manchester United sign Blackburn Rovers defender Phil Jones – EPL news
Manchester United have officially signed the highly-rated young English defender, Phil Jones, from Blackburn Rovers.

A statement on Manchester United official website confirmed, “Manchester United is delighted to announce it has signed an agreement with Blackburn Rovers for the transfer of Phil Jones. The player passed a medical in Manchester last week and has agreed a
five-year contract.”
Even though the official statement did not mention any transfer fee, it is believed that Sir Alex Ferguson has paid £16.5 million for the young sensation.
