Official: Wigan Athletic sign Ali Al-Habsi from Bolton Wanderers – EPL News
Wigan Athletic have officially confirmed the signing of Omani goalkeeper, Ali Al-Habsi, on a permanent deal from Bolton Wanderers for a reported fee of £4 million.
Al-Habsi has completed his permanent switch to DW stadium and has signed a four-year contract with the Latics.

The Omani custodian has been long linked with a permanent move to Wigan Athletic after hugely impressing in his loan season at the DW Stadium.

After joining the Latics on loan last season, Al-Habsi made his debut against Tottenham Hotspurs and was named the man of the match. He won Wigan Athletic’s Player of the Season award for his consistent and outstanding performances throughout the season.
Ali Al-Habsi is Wigan Athletic’s first signing of the current transfer window with more expected to join soon.
