Offroad H-pipe on a v6 mustang

Question

Will taking the cat's off and adding the h-pipe help my sound...I've got true duals right now with no mid pipe, and it sounds ok..but i've heard that going with an off road set up will make my v6 as loud or louder than most stock gt's...any input?

It will make the car louder I own a 95 v6 and before i put an off road x pipe on it I had straight pipes with cats and it sounded good but the x pipe will give it a louder raspier sound

an h pipe will give it a throatier deeper sound.

h pipe equals more torque

x pipe equals more hp

Noise is not everything!

Think about why is it that X pipes have become popular in many circles. I am not so sure that the H pipe design is not outdated by new methods.
