Finishing the closest was, Adamant Flo.
His third and final challenge for the hat-trick was in the Grade A1 William Hill Hotbox Bet Stakes on 4th August, 2012 at Newcastle over 480 metres. Leading run in after taking off from the first gate had Offshore Port winning the race in 29.44
seconds.
The racing history at Newcastle coupled with a miserable blow just during the most recent outing will prompt him to settle the accounts tonight.
