Oh Boy I am in trouble! HELP! with a Canon Camera?

I was using my moms camera and I dropped it about 2 feet (not that far!) and when I tried to use it again it said Lens error. and it tried to turn off so the lens went into the camera, but it didnt go back in! it sounds like it wants to but every time i try it just says Lens error and the lens stays out?!?!

this is a Cannon Power shot SD 600, digital ELPH

  1. Dropping and drowning are the leading killers of digital cameras. You just added your mom's camera to that list.

    The warranty does not cover abuse such as dropping or drowning. Repairs will be at your expense and likely cost as much as a new camera. Start saving now to buy your mom a new camera. You now know why Canon included the wrist strap with the camera - to prevent dropping.
