Oh My Gosh I'm Soo Scared!?

Question

Ok so, hurricane Fay is hitting right now and I'm really scared! I know it isn't that bad, but I need someone to tell me it's going to be OK!

Fay is not a hurricane, but a tropical storm.  Fay is is not expected to become a hurricane either as it is rather disorganized, and due to drift back over land again.  It will mainly just be a prolific rainmaker with the winds having little if any impact.  You&#039;ll be just fine, unless you live in a flood prone area, in which case you may need to go to higher ground due to the heavy rainfall.

Relax...

Fay is not a hurricane, it&#039;s a tropical storm. You&#039;re going to be fine. Just stay in the house and preoccupy yourself with a book or tv and a pizza or something. Trust me, my house was directly in the eye of Hurricane Wilma. I&#039;m getting hit by Fay right now, it&#039;s just rain and a little bit of wind. Which is all it&#039;s going to be.
