i just found a dvd rental that i rented from xtra vision ages ago and forgot to return! it was in a bag i dont use and i completely forgot about it! how much is the interest going to be? i've had the dvd for about 3 months! what do i do?

I don't know exactly but you can usually come to an agreement with them.  Maybe they've forgotten about it as I would have thought you'd have heard from them by now!

Most of these sites you pay a monthly subscription and can keep the rental as long as you like

XtraVision is owned by Blockbuster - so they would not just "forget" you have it.

If it has been months they most likely have already billed your account and/or credit card for the "full value" of the DVD. In the US that's something like $30 or about 1.5 times as much as what it would cost for me to go buy it in a store. But that is all that is going to happen, you aren't going to be billed as if you rented it each of those weeks.

Just go into a store - ask if there is a balance on your account and check your credit card statements.

Maybe if you explained to them that you mislaid it they may understand situation...after all its only a dvd...at least you took it back...good luck...
