Question:

Oh kay so im a sophomore in high school and right now im wanting to be a childrens physical therapist

but i have no idea where to begin like what my major will be in college what classes i will have to take how long and all that kind of stuff, can anyone help me?

  1. you can always contact one of your school's guidance counselors.

    they'll help you figure out which courses and maybe which colleges

In HS, you should take biology, physics and math, and if you have them, anatomy, health sciences, and human development.  In college, you would do about 2 years of general education requirements, which can include classes helpful to your major such as psychology.  Otherwise, you would take anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, and related courses.  You would also have clinical hours where you would observe other working with patients.  There is the BS, but you would be better getting a masters degree in physical therapy.  You can concentrate in pediatrics and work at a rehab hospital or clinic.
