Oh my gosh HELP HELP HELP!!! dream that weirded me outtt!!?

okay so i've had the same dream 3 times where me and a friend start hooking up and when we're about to start having s*x i wake up. all 3 times the dream has happened we are somewhere in my school and in real life we have been through a lot in a year. first we had a thing and were gonna start dating, then he got interested in my best friend so we didnt, then we stopped talking, and 8 weeks later we started again, now we're back to being friends. but everytime i have this dream it makes me think about everthing we went through. what does this dream even mean?! and what does it say about me and him!!?!?
