Question:

Oh no, typo on invites

On the back flap of the envelopes and on the RSVP postcards, the zip code was listed as 37207, but it should be 37027. It's my fault for not catching it, and obviously the postcards will have to be reprinted, but it is a big deal to not redo the envelopes? I already put stamps on them! Do you pay any attention to the address on the envelope when you get a wedding invitation?

  1. Just use white out!  Don't waste your money.  I'm sure your guest wont mind.

  2. If you're sending pre addressed rsvp post cards, those will come back to you without a hitch.  The problem with having the wrong zip code on the actual invitations is that if they don't make it to the recipients, you may not get them returned right away (or at all) since the USPS sorts by zip code first.

Another option is to call everyone that you've invited after sending the invitations, to make sure they've re received them.
