Oh no! I need help with my rats First bath!?

Question

ok well my little Black rat was getting her first bath! so she was loving it swimmin and she was splashing! so i said ok time for the suds! so i grabbed her and poured some on her i guess It was to clod she went backwards and the suddzie water went on her face possibly in her eyes maybe her ears! will that be ok her eyes seem ok she cleaned the but her ears i am worried about? what should i do? should i be concerned?

I've dealt with this before. Depends on what type of shampoo you are using. But for the ears just take a small but not too tiny piece of a cotton ball to it. DO NOT blow in the ears this will only force water further. Make sure that you keep the cage CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN for 2-3 weeks because they are VERY prone to resp. infections when this happens. That's how I lost my little guy...='/
