  1. The problem is that the diagphram in the toilet syphon is gone. In the meantime you will have to throw buckets of water down the toilet to get rid of any waste.

  2. Pouring water down does create a flush from the water pressure, or you could try plunging it. Did it overflow at some point, or just stop flushing? You can also lift the lid and see if the chain is attached to the handle mechanism that causes the flush when you push it down.

  3. lol use someone else's toilet, like your next door neighbor or friend. Then wait until tomorrow.

  4. if you have a plunger then plunge ur toilet while flushing it, trust me it works.

  5. Lift the lid and see if the chain is attached to the rubber stopper part.  Otherwise, grab a plunger... see if that works.

  6. it could be that it has unhooked itself from the ball c**k!  We had this a couple of weeks ago.  Open the sistern and inside there is like a ball type thingy, and above that is a arm with a hook!  Attach this back to the ball and hey presto, flush again!!!  Hope this helps

  7. lol. well u sure are in a sticky situation!

The only thing u can do, is do it do like a dog/cat and go outside, take some toilet paper with you, and then put the toilet paper in the bin!

Remember to bury your number 2's, dont just leave them on top of the dirt! poooeeey! lol.

Just keep the toilet lid down and stick an airfreshener on top of it if its full of poops =)

Hope the plumber comes early tomoro! =P

  8. bucket and a shovel :), go to your local shops, or start getting friendly with your neighbourgh

  9. Get a hotel room? lol sorry I'm not a plumber :(

  10. go to a public place and use theirs??????

  11. Can you open the tank behind the bowl?? If so, open the top and look for a little plastic or rubber looking stopper at the bottom of the tank- this is what let's water into the bowl to flush.

If you find it, reach in (no worries, that water should be clean :) ) and pull the stopper up with your hand, let the toilet flush, and replace the stopper.

    Good Luck!!

  12. just pour buckets of water super fast into the pot, all the stuck up stuff would flush off..

    hope this helps..:)

  13. flush with buckets of water

  14. have a poo outside

  15. your landlady isn't trying hard enough, get back on to her, a plumber would class this as an emergency and sort it today, this morning, offer to ring one yourself and bill her.

  16. ummm u can wait for one day

    i think

  17. use buckets of water to flush the poo poos away the force of the water will work like a flush!

  18. i agree with Strawberry

  19. you can use the toilet just flush the toilet down with buckets of water

all that happens when you flush toilet is water that is held in the cistern (the back of the toilet) is cyphoned (a vacuum is created to force the water to go in to bowl) once the flush is complete the cistern refills

so just use a large bucket and flush water down a couple of times till tommorow

if you're renting the landlady will be liable to pay for the repair not you so don't let her have you paying anything for the repair

  20. Take the lid off the tank and lift the chain to open the valve in the bottom.  This will release the water in the tank.  It the toilet is stopped up use a plunger.  If you don't have a plunger use your toilet brush to try and create suction.

  21. well, poke it with a toilet brush?

  22. Buckets of water. Mine hasn't worked since early April. Half a bucket of water will flush away the most stubborn deposits...

  23. if it wont flush from the cistern then it could be the diaphram washer in the syphon needs replacing if is an older type cistern as everybody has said if the pan is not blocked use a bucket of water to clear the deposits

  24. i would say fill up buckets from your bath / shower and then flush the water from the bucket down the toilet when required

thats the solution for now !

but it will only work if the toilet isnt blocked

  25. Is it blocked or is there no water in the cistern?

If the former try draining rods or a plunger to clear the blockage, if the latter get a bucket of water and use that to flush when you've "been"  until the cistern is fixed

  26. Im afriad there is only 2 options, close the lid and door and use a toilet somewhere else or...

Get a large bowl (washing up type bowl) empty out as much of the water as possible from the toilet, put on some rubber gloves and see if you can reach any blockage, if not place newspaper or kitchen roll under the white pipes and undo them, a bit of water and waste will come out but usually the blockage can be found and removed, if you still cant see the blockage then Im afraid you'll just have to wait for the plummer

  27. dont ask such silly questions  do what  we all have to do when things  go wrong  get a plunger and if its blocked that should clear it other wise you will have to manage as best  you can  untill a plumber comes out

  28. p**p in bags and pee in the sink

  29. Try a plunger.  Otherwise, you might have to hold it or find a gas station for emergencies.
