Oh no... anyone else fancy Tursonov's chances against Federer?

Question

Hard draw for Fed, if he gets past his first round against Tursonov I'll almost be suprised, this guys in form! How do people think they will match up?

Also Hewitt/Nadal second round- might be a good one??

tursunov has a chance but hewitt will be lucky to get past bjorkman.. he hasnt played a match since wimbledon.

Don't know if I'd go so far as to say I expect Tursunov to win but it is going to be a very stern test for Federer. Dmitri's a guy with a powerful serve and massive groundies, not to mention that he's been on pretty good form lately.

If Federer is playing at a high level (which has been rare this year) he should win but it is by no means a foregone conclusion. He will have to work for it.

Maybe a tough early rounder will be good for him and help him regain a little focus.

Hewitt's been good and has beaten Rafa in the past but considering Nadal's current form, and the fact that Lleyton has done nothing of note in ages, I say Nadal wins pretty comfortably.

I think Tursonov has an excellent chance. One his style of play is dangerous and if he can keep his temper controled, certainly possible. Also Fed is a bit vulnerable as of late,and went down in second round in Athens. Each players draw is difficult. I mean its The Olympics. Only the best participate. Nothing is a given. If Massu can win gold as he did in Athens, as well as Fish get silver, that just shows anything is possible.

Well what can you do.  The best athletes are going to be in the Olympics so everyone is tough and anyone can win or lose on any given day.   Win or lose Fed is still my favorite.

tough match for a first round but if he wins i don't think he'll have more trouble until the final rounds, i don't think he's gonna loose to simon or karlovic again

nadal/hewitt will be fun to watch is always fun when both players are good =)

Yeah ! I think Roger shouldnt have any bother with Tursonov. Karlovic is a scary thought..... Rafa vs Hewitt will be a very entertaining match, just my type of tennis with long amazing rallies :) haha Nadal should be fine surviving Hewitt i got a good feeling.

Besides Kait could be worse at least he doesnt have Murray which nadal has.
